94z Cat

I got a cat for a 94Z REALLY CHEAP. It has, of course, no AIR fitting. Any reason I can't put it on my 92RS and cap the AIR tube to the CAT?

There is no reason but you will need some fab work. Your stock cat is 2.25" and the LT1 is no less than 2.5".

Only thing I need is a header flange and 3 nuts, bolts and lock washers. The ball flange on the cat and the I pipe are exact. I picked up a few pipe pieces and clamps last night. It takes a little time to find everything used but I have more time for the car than $.

By the way, Shifty, Thanks for the help and advice. You always seem to be able to answer questions without s0ome of the attitude some members have. Your explanations are great.
