I'm finishing my 3"catback install, (along with a bathroom and 3rd floor, time is TIGHT). Anyway, I had to cut 13" off of the used flowmaster setup's tailpipes. Reinstalling the cut off ends puts the tips up under the plastic rear bumper cover. I'm comcerned about heat and discoloration but I don't really want the pipes too exposed. Any ideas?

 

Angle them down slightly... I did that with mine. You can just kinda see the bottom/front of the tips if you look from the side of the car. Looks nice. Mine are angled down about 15* or so I'd say.
