So tomorrow im thinking of cutting the pipe to my exhaust. i was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. Where is the best place to cut it? (Stock 89 GTA) Would it be better to drill a hole in the muffler? Would I lose any power and how would it effect the gas mileage?

I want it loud but not too loud. Im just doing this until i get new exhaust, which comes after rims.
