Ceramic Coating Manufacter or Aftermarket
I was wondering why so many people buy headers and get them ceramic coated by another company. Specifically I am interested in Hooker 2055 and noticed that you can buy them from holley already ceramic coated but have not seen anyone on this board recommend them or have them and was wondering the reason why.

I wouldn't recommend buying them coated because of little things you can do to improve them before installing. I posted a thread about 2055 nits discussing that. After getting them up to snuff, then get them coated.
Reports have varied regarding the extent and quality of Hooker coating. Some said the interior wasn't coated, others said it was. Some said Hooker coating wasn't good quality, other said it was.
Another option is to buy them directly from Jet Hot if you aren't worried about the nits.
