plugged AIR tubes

I got a set of 2055s, and had them coated. All but one of the AIR tubes is severely plugged, if not completely plugged. Some have little white ***** I can see in there and that rattle around. One tube is completely plugged with the coating they put on the inside of the headers.

I am in CA and i do have to pass smog......what do you guys think?

Thanks!

The same thing happened to mine. I was told they would just burn off after the headers got hot. Since I have installed them, i've had no problems.

I wouldn't worry about it.

i dont know what those little white thingys are so maybe they could burn off, but the coating plugging the holes shouldnt burn off! i didnt pay 200 clams for the interior coating to be burning off anytime soon

plus how would I ever be able to tell unless I took them off and checked everything out after I had been running them for awhile. I dont want to fail emissions testing and have to be tearing things apart 2 years from now.....

The A.I.R. tubing to the headers is used primarily in open loop. Sniffer tests are done in closed loop, when the A.I.R. flow is directed to the cat. The chances of header A.I.R. tubes being blocked affecting a standard sniffer test are slim to none.
