i was wondering how big is the stock exhaust is on an 87 camaro? 2 in? 2.5 in?

 

I THINK its 2.5... Atleast thats what it is on my 305.

 

Should be 2-3/4" on an '87 TPI.

 

i agree with five7kid. My 87 had the 2 3/4 even though i thought it was 2.5 but replacing my cat with a bigger pipe which was really 2.5 i was like whoa thats big....after adding my headers w/3 inch y-pipe i was like dayum thats even more huge

so i had to realize this exhaust is really small now that i think about it 2 3/4 it is
