Fuel Injectors

I have a Iroc-Z28 and I'm wondering who recommends South Bay Injectors or Fuel Injection Connection (FIC) for the best injectors. South Bay has brand new injectors that has double O-rings for a Direct fit because they are a 1/4 shorter than the oringinals. Fuel Injection Connection (FIC) has rebuilt injectors but they say that they are a direct fit (same height but smaller diameter). Just curious to know opinions....

Re: Fuel Injectors

I installed injectors from South Bay 2 winters ago. (with the double o rings). Installation went fine and have run them for 3000 miles without a problem. Just got back today from an 1100 mile trip and injectors never crossed my mind. I have faith in thrm and will buy from South Bay again. Randy

Re: Fuel Injectors

I bought from John @ FIC just a few months ago. I had a question on the install,it was a sunday so I took a chance and called and he answered the phone and was very pleasant to deal with. I completely recommend FIC

I am sure both companies are great. I was telling about my experience with South Bay. Glad to see that you are satisfied. Randy

Re: Fuel Injectors

I'm more curious to know more about the performance and quality of the injectors. I talked to both SBI & FIC (Bill). 1 is new and the others are rebuilt. 1 is shorter then the OE's (Extra O-rings) and the other is same height (smaller Diameter). 1 accommodates all the correct hardware and the other U install a lil different cuz of the connectors or something like that.

Re: Fuel Injectors

As far as installation, I just followed the very complete instructions that were provided. Very simple and not much different from O.E.M. Once again, thousands of miles, no loss of power, performance, or mileage. Very much satisfied. Randy

Re: Fuel Injectors

Thanks for the thumbs up Randy, glad everthing worked out for you!

p8dnful,,, it is your choice who you choose to purchase from. Just want to let you know that we no longer use the double oring set up since we came up with our new adapter.

Take a look at the attached pic and you will see what the adapter looks like.
The pic shows 2 stock tpi injectors, a bosch inj with our adapter, and a bosch injector without addit. orings or adapters. You will notice that all injectors measure exactly the same oring to oring except for the bosch without the mods....it is a little shorter.
We sell both new and reman injectors, both of which come with a 3 year warranty.
