Hooker 2055 Question

I have a quick question . I have a broken motor mount and i remember reading about the hooker longtubes having a problem with the y pipe clearance if u used polyurethane mounts cuz they move the motor up. Do the hooker 2055 shorties have this same problem or are they an easy install?

I'm running the Hooker 2055's and using ES poly motor mounts with no problems.

How did you break a motor mount?

I didn't have any problems with the 2055's with the original sagging mounts. When I went to reinstall them with new poly mounts, I had to modify the passenger side rear A-arm mount box, and the Spohn subframe connector on the passenger side front.

i dont really know if its broken or just going out, because my mechanic just installed my new 12 bolt rearend and said when he was test driving it that the motor was loose and needed new mounts. he never popped my hood as far as i know. Did u have to do a lot of work on the a arm mount box and subframe connectors or was it just some simple grinding, cuz at $70 an hour im going broke with labor.
Also whats the benfit to the poly urethane mounts? should i just go with regular old rubber ones?

Eventually she will have a procharger on her with a completely built 350 for drag only

No problems with the a-arm mount box or my Global West SFC's.
