Hooker 2055's for a 91-92
I'm a newbie so please be gently. I've been reading a lot of post about headers and decided to go with hooker 2055. I have a 91 GTA that I want to install all new exhaust. When I look at the spec's for the 2055s they stop at 1990? Why don't they cover 91-92? Is it a single or dual cat issue? I don't have a 90 or older to look at to see the difference. Thx. Rob

1991 & 1992 had 2-1/4" cats, either single or dual. Which do you have?
The 2055's are made for a single 3" cat. If you're replacing all of the exhaust, use parts made for the '86-'90 TPI single cat application, and you'll be fine. For instance, the Catco 9118 is a direct fit between the 2055's and whatever cat-back is made for the same '86-'90 application.

Related question please - the Hooker cat back systems for the 86-92 are only for the single cat setup. Is it easy enough to modify that cat bac (#16823) to work with the duakl cats? What all is involved?
