I have a set of slp 1 3/4 headers that have been jet-hot coated,and while I had them stored,some sort of white/brown stain has appeared on them...it is not rust. Is there something that could remove this? The coating was done a few years back...I never used the headers as my project was put on hold...I am actually planning to sell the headers soon...and I want them to look as good as possible..not that they look bad,but the one header does have the stain on it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Try some aluminum wheel polish. Just do a small inconspicuous spot to see.

Buff it out with white rouge. Works good.
