Edelbrock cat-back

I am considering the 5672 from edelbrockfor my 89 350TPI Iroc. Does anyone here have it and was you happy with the product. It looks like they replaced the rpm muffler with a new sdt muffler. If I don't go with the edelbrock I was thinking that the Hooker cat-back looked good also. Any opions

I've had it on my car for 4 years now, love it, there isn't a car around here that sounds like mine.

I've had the Edelbrock on my truck for a while now. I love it..definately different and has a deep tone to it. I am wanting something a little more healthy at WOT. Edelbrock is a good choice though.

i have edelbrock rpm catback on my 91 rs. I replaced a flowmaster 80 muffler back. i love it more. it is such an awesome tone, and, like Vic said, not another that sounds like it... check mine out... www.geocities.com/imadude_134/rpm.avi watchout tho, its kinda big (like 4mb or something) and mine has leaky manifolds (i think,u can hear them popping in the vid, especially right when i start) lo3 5.0tbi, so on ur 350 it would sound even more wicked. let me know what u think. Where u from? if ur in Southern Cali, come by and u can hear it in person.... ill rev it for ya....

Tim, I live in Va so that would be a long drive. I will have to download your vid. Do you have the RPM muffler or the new SDT muffler.

rpm, the sdt came out about a week after i put mine on... ive heard that the sdt's r quieter but better flowing. me, i dont care to much about flow, not yet anyways. i care more about the sound, thats y i picked the rpm.

An update... After driving around with it for a month (and shortening the tailpipes 4") I must say the sound is intoxicating. I'm finding myself holding gears longer just to hear it's mellow roar and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I still hate the new tailpipes but the SDT muffler is quiet at cruise and really barks as you accelerate.
