which should i use?

I'm looking to do a full exhaust upgrade on my 91 305 TBI. I was thinking about running edelbrock's tubular exhaust system with a flowmaster american thunder 3" dual outlet cat back exhaust. My question is will it work and are there any better options. If there are please let me know!

Everyone has their own opinions about what exhaust is best, but I honestly don't think you can go wrong with the Hooker 2055s. They are great headers and the y-pipe is currently the best mass-produced y-pipe for these cars, bar none.

I gave my LG4 Hooker 2055s along with a Catco cat and a Hooker 3" catback. It set me back about $1100 buying all the parts from Summit. I also had the headers ceramic coated which was $300.

There's definately cheaper parts out there, but I would personally pay a little bit more money for much better quality parts. Ask ShiftyCapone about the headers he bought, and he will gladly explain the difference between a $150 set of headers and a $400 set.

It will work. The typical advice is to pick the '86-'90 TPI single cat application parts for whatever brand of stuff you get.
