Will LT headers help flow of 350 with 305 heads?
I have a 350 block with 305 (081) heads. Will LT 1-3/4 headers help the heads out, or are the heads always going to be a major restriction?
I did not put them on the car, the previous owner did that. And the block is a 350 I saw the casting numbers.
Also, with these heads and LT's, would I be okay to port the TPI or again, will the heads still be a major restriction?
If you can't tell by now, I will be keeping the heads on here for some time. I'll just do the basic bolt ons for now.
Thanks.

1.88 valves will always be a restriction as far as upper RPM flow goes. Will these headers help you small valved 350? Absolutly! Actually the TPI would be more of a restriction then the stock 305 heads. You wont be wasting you money, that seems to be the answer your looking for.
