How well do the Magnaflow Race Series Mufflers flow?
I'm trying to complete my set up of Hooker 2210's, Mufflex Y-Pipe and undecided on what to do for a muffler. I definitely want to go 4" on the I Pipe and don't see that many mufflers out there that would fit other than Spintech and Flowmaster. I'm looking at this muffler from Magnaflow http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=570
I was just wondering what you guys would think as far as how well this muffler flows compared to others?? BTW, all of this will be behind a fully built for nitrous 350 engine. (car is not driven daily) TIA

I have a magnaflow on my 94 Z-28 and love it compared to the flowmaster I had before. What turned me on to them was that some of the competitors in the engine masters challenge used these. In fact Joe Sherman which won the small block shoot out used magnaflow. Good enough for me. I do have a 4" spintech on my third gen though. I plan to replace it with a hooker aero chamber. The guys at thunder racing did dyno tests on the flowmaster, spintech, and the aerochamber. The aero chamber won on all the cars there. If you use the aero chamber you'll have to order the 3.5" inlet and outlet one and just cut the reducer off each end. Doing that will make it a 4" inlet.
