Removing Exhaust Trouble
My car doesn't WANT to be PITA, the previous owners made him that way. I'm trying to remove the old exhaust, looks like an ancient crinkle-bend 3" cat back system. Apparently the fella who put it together, found either humorous or absolutely necissary to weld it up in places. I have (what looks like) a tac weld on the inlet pipe to the muff, which I think i have severed enough, and a weld on the pass. side hanger/inlet/outlet pipes. My dremel has only gotten me thru the smaller tac weld, but any idea how I can cut thru the bigger one? I'm not real keen on sparks up there near my fuel tank, is it safe enough to continue cutting?

SAWZALL!!
Yeah, that cut it. I was more concerned about sparks and my fuel tank. Funny I got more fireworks w/ the Dremel cut-off wheel than I did w/ the Dewalt sawzall and metal cutting blade. Go figure.
