LT's and converters?

LT's and converters?
Can it be done? I havent seen any pics as far as I know that had somebody with LT's and converters.

It can be done but they have to be moved. If you only want 1 youll have to probably get a y-pipe fabbed, what long tubes were you looking at? You could always just go with a true dual set up, that might even be easier, but it might take some custom fab work from a muffler shop. If your looking for ease of installation go with the hooker 2055s especially if you want to retain emissions.

I did it, sorry though, no pics. I did true duals with long tubes and I kept my converters on. Sounded amazing, tons of power (even on my puny 305 at the time). I'm reworking my exhaust this year becuase my cats were the lowest point and I bottomed out quite a bit.

To be effective they have to be as close to the engine as possible. Got hedman extensions and welded the cats right after them. This spring I'm welding them straight to the collectors to save ground clearance.
