AIR Pump and idle

Car: 1992 Camaro RS
Engine: 513 BBC
Transmission: 700R4 (ummm yeah stock)
Axle/Gears: Junkie ones....
AIR Pump and idle
Quick question here...I pulled my AIR pump off today because it locked up on me. The problem I seem to have now is the car wants to idle very high now and sometimes when I first start it the car wants to stall. Did I jack something up here?
