i have the angle plug Trick flow headers-kenny ductwellier heads, I have had flowtechs and hedman headers, I would say get the hedman headers for it, but i have no problem getting to any of my plugs. Just make sure you get headers for angle plug heads and you will be fine.

they will most definetly fit your stock heads, they arent to bad to install either, (of course i dont have a A/C-Heater box on my firewall), but on the pass. side they just fell in and on the drivers side, i unbolted the motor mount and with a piece of wood in between the jack and the oil pan, i jacked the engine up about 1-2 inches and the other one fell in. I also would like to recommend Perseys header gaskets, they are a bit pricey (around $40 at auto zone) but they sure do seal very well. and if you get them and have any trouble with the install (or just any more ?s) just PM me or repley to this thread again.

nice job for a rookie there BT
what do you have behind the headers ? y-pipe , true duals ?i would like to run duals but if i have to for now y-pipe to save $.
or would the price be comparable between the two? i'm looking for performance not worried too much about sound as it will not see much street time.
much apprec

I have a 2 1/2" y pipe with a bullet muffler dumping were the CAT at one time was, I will try and get you a sound clip in a day or two. I just ordered a spintech to try and get the truck sound out of it, and if that doesnt work i guess im going with true duals, that run in to two bullets and dump under the rear seats.

Yeah i'm gonna go w/the true duals i like the idea of dumping them in front of the axle.

I was going to get you that sound clip today but my car is having some battery problems, so hopefully Sat. or Sun.

But yea i love the sound for exhaust dumped before the rear axle.
What kind of muffler you going to run?

i'm prolly going to use the small round chambered mufflers for as much flow as possible and turn them down under the car.

they call it a 60's style like on the older muscle cars.supposed to have a good sound and flow and i,m sure they are loud.i just hope my stock motor doesn't sound like a dump truck insted of drag car.they're under 100$ at jeg's i believe. so if its to bad i wont lose toomuch.also they're only 31/2" round.

Chambered exhaust is quite loud on a powerful engine. I drove a '66 Corvette with a 427 4bbl at work about a week ago. It had the fractory side pipes with chambered mufflers. It was not "straight pipes" loud, but it was pretty loud. Sounded badass though!
