My exhaust system is bumping up against the body of the car near the rear axle. Should I just get some hi-temp glue and a rubber pad to make a little barrier or is there somthing else I can do. It's a weird rattle, I only hear it when the car is idling.

 

Check hangers, make sure their not too tight or too loose.

 

Too tight? How would I check for that, is there a certain amount of torque for the hangers?
