I wanted to run dual exhaust. Now is there a big difference in sound/power with 2 1/4 or 2 1/2. would it make that big of a difference in ground clearence. I have not lowered my car, not sure if I am going to. but I should have enough clearence. thanks for any info.

well your exhaust would hang down 1/4" more off the floorpan. I'm running true dual 2.5" pipes with no issues

do you have any pics of your exhaust? I looked at your webpage but I could not see anything really. I have shorties so that should help me out with some ground clearence. how much of a gap did you leave between the exhaust and the floor pan? thanks

if you have shorties, then i wouldn't even bother and just get a y-pipe and a catback exhaust. it'll cost you too much in piping to get pipes bent up to the shorties than the cost of long tubes. I left a fingers thickness between the floorpan and the exhaust and moved all the fuel and brake lines out of the way. i have .45" at the lowest point on my exhaust for clearance. no pics since the motor is out for my next build.
