hooker 2210 fitment

I really wanted to do a search but tha function is not available yet. Besides the usual ground clearance issues are thare any problmes with these? How about clearance with the K member etc etc? I was planning on using 2460's but the shop that will dyno tune the engine really suggested LT's. I would just buy them direct from Jet Hot and I just wasnted to double check before I spend 640.00 for coated headers.

BTW I am using a Spohn transmission Xmember and torque arm if that matters. Thanks,

your looking to do the same set up like i am planing. you are going to have to make a custom y-pipe. mufflex sells a y-pipe for our cars that bolt up from the collectors to the cat but since we are using spohn's tq arm we need to get a custom y pipe made. what tranny are you using. cause i heard of fitttment problems with the manuals thats why i think everyone perfers going with the 2210's i am using a t56 in mine and i have a guy that is going to make a y pipe for me as soon as i am ready

They actually contact the A-Arm inside knuckles just a bit. Required a sawzall and carbide grinder to make adequate clearance. It touched the backside of the K-member/engine cradle also but not enough to hurt anything. A mufflex Y-pipe will NOT clear your Spohn cross member perfectly. I had to notch mine a little also to get the y-pipe tucked up properly..OH! and I had to get rid of the damn driveshaft loop. Doesn't clear at ALL with 4" mufflex y-pipe. I'll add one but it'll be custom made...

Just some issues I had. It is well worth it to do this setup still over a shorty/small tube setup. Goodluck!
