cleaning EGR passages
Would somebody please put up a pic or diagram on where or how the EGR passages are routed. I failed the Nox part of the sniffer and I want to cover all my bases before I take it to get tested again.
I have installed new plugs, EGR, O2, dual cats, PCV and cleaned the air filter(K&N). I don't want to miss anything. I want to get this over and done with.

Not sure exactly how its routed through the manifold, but for what its worth, carb cleaner spray or diesel fuel works well for cleaning that stuff up.

okay
Thanks for the tips, but I have another question. I know there is a passage right behind the throttle body, but where does it exit, or where else should I spray?

yup
still runnin TPI. The runners (big tubes) should be cleaned, or the smaller single tube should be cleaned? Or all of them?
Thanks
Thanks
Sometimes you have to take the EGR valve off and spray it and run a small welding rod or coathanger back and forth to clear the passage in the intake. the valve can work fine but if the passage is carboned up obviously you lose EGR which is what usually causes high NOx readings.
