Installing air/fuel gauge
Didn't know if this should go here but...
I installed an air/fuel gauge into my car, and all it was doing was reading Rich. So I put a multimeter on signal wire and it's reading over 2 volts. The sensor I'm using is a Bosch heated 02 sesnor for a zr1 corvette. I know the range should be between .050 and 1.00 volts. Basically what I'm asking is do you think it's a bad o2 sensor? It's a carb car so it's not hooked up to a pcm to trigger a ses light.

I put the Edelbrock AF meter on my old Camaro, read dead rich to start with. First step was to get the idle mixture better. With a larger cam, even that's hard to do. With your setup I'm not sure how it would work, but I've read that some of these gauges vary the current some to get a more accurate reading at the edge of the normal range. These sensors are only accurate really close to the 14.7 ratio I guess. Took me a long time and several carb teardowns to get it halfway right.

I wasn't sure, if it was the o2 senosr or the, carb at this point. I thought the operating range on an 02 sensor was from .5-1 volts. I didn't think it would read over 1 volt.
