which borla?

My borla is a quiet borla, but as with any borla, zero back pressure.

I assume your speaking of the borla with the y-pipe before the muffler, and therefor would be loud.

I like loud cars, but you gotta have monye to pay for tickets, cause every cop has a bad day.

My car is quiet so i can rev up without getting the attension from cops a mile away.

I once was given a shout out on a local forum, somone posted about a loud silver trans am, and 3 days later when i check the forum, people had reported also hearing me drive by from a distance. Of coarse i had side pipes, and a couple glass packs for an exhaust.

They are nice systems but I would only buy them to have the name and the removable plates. There are many other systems out there that would perform just as well for half the cost (random tech, hooker, magnaflow and mufflex).

Car: too many ...
The previous owner of my IROC-Z put on a Borla XS system (car is a L98), its not as loud as a Flowmaster setup but I personally think it sounds better. One thing I noticed, and I dont know if all Borla systems are like this, but the bends in the exhaust pipes as it goes over the rear axle seem to be really messy, looks like someone manually bent them. I've always wondered if that messes up the flow ....

I liked my borla alot, nice 3" system and it comes with a cutout already on it

Heres a short clip of how it sounded. Mods: 305 tpi, full bolt-ons, car ran 14.40 @ 98mph back then, I had so many comments, LS1 guys pulling up to me at redlights saying out mean it sounded, lots of thumbsup
