edelbrock headers/which locking header bolts fit
by no means am i a header expert so im going crazy with all this searching ive been doing about locking header bolts. so far ive found that breslin and stage 8s are the brands to go with. but stage 8s are not as universal as breslins locking header bolts. since i have edelbrock headers. any idea what kind of locking header bolts will work on my car?

Never used the Edelbrock headers, but I have used both Stage 8s and Breslin's. If there is a header that the Stage 8s won't fit, I haven't come across it yet (OK, I'm not sure what the SLP header guys use, tho....kind of a unique situation there). I have had to grind most of my stage 8s to get them to fit, but thats an extremely easy job.... at least easier than getting the clips on them. The Breslin's went on easy as heck and look good as hell, but mine began falling out after 6 months or so. I tightened the inner allen screws down as tight as I could, but they still eventually vibrated loose. Now with that said, I was also hanging the exhaust by my headers, so I assume that was the cause of the Breslin's coming loose. I just have a 1 chamber flowmaster at the end of the ypipe with it all supported by the headers. My guess..... both will work. Stage 8s might require grinding the clips.

They look like the one on the left, but often need to be ground down to fit each individual header tube like the one on the right.

The Breslins also use a 12 point head, which is an annoyance when your box wrench won't fit against the header tube.
