smelly exhaust
the short of it is- the car had that bad fuel pump thing, it took me two years to get around to fixing it. so now its fixed, and running. oil clean as can be, the fuel tank was cleaned to spotless, and replaced all fuel lines. injectors were cleaned aswell. so ive been running it everyu day for about an hour since, sunday took it out for a afternoon drive. all week and after the drive and now today the exhaust smells. the cat, though 2 and a half years old was only on the car for about 6 months before it was curbed(brand new when installed). what, where is the problem? before it stoped running the car did not smell. i checked the headers and any leaks in the piping- none.
any feed back would be great!

What kind of a smell? Strong exhaust smell or a rotten eggs smell? Rotten eggs/sulfur is indicative of a bad cat. A strong exhaust smell (when running cats) is often caused by running rich.
