Smog Removal Question

I got one quick question about removing the AIR system. I going to be taking it off of my LG4. I dont have the serpentine belt setup, and I looked at the AIR pump and it appears that the belt isnted connecting to anything else. I can just remove the whole assembly and not need the AIR delete pully, correct? Thanks

Of course you can. Don't worry about the air pump delete pulley, it's only necessary on serp belt setups.

If you have the serp setup you can just remove the pump. You dont have to put the replacement idler pulley in there. It has been discussed several times. I think the only thing you should do is get a shorter belt. I just rerouted the belt and it is a little too long and the tensioner is at one of its limits. I am going to be running a new water outlet soon and will probably need to replace the belt because of it so I havent bothered buying a new belt. I dont have any problems though with belt slippage either
