dual exhust help/ ground clearnce

frist off I DID A SEARCH


i have coming next week koni yellows and eibach pro kit, i want to go to ture dual. ive been told that i should get mid size headers { not shorties or long tubes} . so far i have on partslist electric cut outs and adapter, flowmaster super 40 , do i need 1 or 2 and im looking to ge some grond clearance & a clean look that also functions well.should i go with like an h pipe,x pipe, in stock location? this car is mostly stock {87 iroc} its gona be street driven and go to the track some times mabe even autox? on sunday im pretty sure im picing up a hsr{ holly stealth ram } and i want everything to run well. mabe post pics? yh i know therese a thred of dual exhust ive been lookin at it for a while now and need some other good ideas. and help or advise on what i should do

You don't really have a lot of choice in the matter as far as that goes. You can get shortys, or you can get long tubes. There's not really anything "mid length" available.

i o was told that there was mid size wich shorties would work the best? and how much

I bought a set of Hooker Ceramic Coated Competition Headers for about 330 bucks from summitracing. They fit pretty good. Not sure how well they work yet, god-willing my new motor will run for the first time tomorrow. The hooker y-pipe looked like it would have fit really good except that the deep morosso oil pan i'm running doesn't let you run the stock exhaust routing which kind of screws me on the exhaust side of things. I'm probably gonna have one custom made. You can't beat true dual exhaust, so if anyone knows anyway to route a dual system i really need to know. I'll probably end up running a 3" single if I can't figure out how to run duals.

i guess go to a custom shop and come up with an idea.. im gona do that gotta find a custom set up though
