Hedman 68470 Fitment Question

Has anyone NOT had to jack the engine up to get these headers on? Just about to start my install, and could get ahold of an engine hoist, but would rather not. I plan on taking out all the A/C stuff so that should open up some more room, just wondering what other tips and tricks you guys have for these particular headers.

I put my passenger side one on the motor when I lowered it in, and i'm removing the power steering pump, and steering linkage and valve covers to get it in. Quite tricky.
Let me know how your fuel lines look on the passenger side. (oh wait, you have FI, probably different setup...)

PS. What is the ID of the primary tubes? I think I have an old set, mine are 1.5"....

I've got a holley carb. no FI here. I'm not exactly sure what the I.D. is, but if you look at the Stickie at the top of the page with all the header info in it, it should be there. Any one else with tips/tricks?
