Does anybody have the part number for the muffler heatshield above the muffler? Ours rusted away and today the gas was boiling so I kinda need one asap. Locally they are just as rusted out so I am hoping GM still has new. Thanks

 

I doubt they still stock them unless the 4th gen uses same part number.

Call and ask, otherwise buy some sheet metal and fab it.

 

The dealer still has them. They have the muffler one for $19.94 and the small over axle one for about 12 bucks. They dont have the cat shield .Its been discontinued. I will post part numbers when I pick them up in 3 days for anybody else looking.

 

Part number for the Muffler heatshield is 10239715. GM had 104 of them left in the warehouse.

 

And the Part number for the over axle heat shield is 10408723. This piece replaces the older 2 piece over axle heatshield. New design fit perfect tongiht.
