Looking For A Mean Sounding Exhaust

I got a 89 i-roc convertbal and wanted a pretty mean sounding exhaust. It's a stock motor and i was wondering which exhaust set up would sound mean on it. I wouldnt mind taking the cat off. But it will have to have a muffler.
My 01 SS Camaro has straight pipes going to a cutt out and i get pulled over sometimes. But i get off with a warning since im in Ny With Fl tags hehe.

And yes i have used the search button.

check the exhaust clips thread thats stickied. that might be a good start

something loud and mean, i'd say a spintech race muffler, or flowmaster 1 chamber race muffler. mufflex exhaust uses both of these, its your choice. they sound very bad ***.

any chambered tube like Sweet thunder, classic chambered powersticks, and stainless works. they are mean sounding and deep

slp loudmouth is another great choice!

If you were to get a loud exhaust , I would suggest putting in some dynamat. It gets a little irritating after awhile inside if you are going to drive everyday.

I have that catback on my car. It sounds sweet. It's not all that loud at an idle or at cruzing speed. But it get's pretty mean when you smash the go pedal. Here's a post with a sound clip in it of my setup. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/exha...1-flo-pro.html. Adam :-)

my old '91 RS 305 had no cat with a glasspack in it's place, all 2.5" pipe all the way back and Y'd into duals out the back.. for a 305 it sounded amazing.

I'm running a set of Edelbrock headers (6872) with no cat through a 3" exhaust with a Flowmaster 2 chamber muffler (430402). Sounds great.
