SLP header question...

I was talked into buying the 1 3/4 slp headers for my 383. I never had so much trouble changing #6 and #8 spark plugs and wires eventually burning even with asbestos boots on.

Are the next size slp headers..(1 5/8?) any better????????

SLP sells a special spark plug socket to help with the tight fit.... It's just a craftsman socket cut in half and drilled through to allow the spark plug to slide throught the socket. You have to then use a 3/4 box wrench to turn the socket from the hex side of the socket.. The charge $40... its a total rip off but it really made the job alot easier
