diameter of stock dual cat y pipe

diameter of stock dual cat y pipe
i've got a bad cat and instead of replacing the whole system, i'm just going to modify my dual cat y by removing both the cats. what is the diameter, is it 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch pipe? thanks alot, chris.

The stock Y-pipe for dual cats is 2 1/4 running from the exhaust manifolds to the cats, thats for a 305 LB9. The diameter of the pipe may change on the exit of the cats, though.
