has anyone fabricated a notched crossmember for a lontube y pipe?

Hello

I have a set of hedman lontubes that i am going to install this winter. My y pipe is going to go around the tranny on both sides and then y right infront of it. I was thinking about ground clearance and was wondering if anyone has fabricated a notched out crossmember for a 700R4.

thanks

I suppose it could be done like it is more commonly on manual cars, but you'd still have a hard time routing the exhaust around the larger body of the 700R4, especially with the shifter linkage and whatnot in the way.
