I was able to remove my I-pipe while doing a fuel pump replacement (I took out from the cat back to avoid removing muffler from I-pipe) - but I can't tell you exactly how high as I didn't measure it. I think the jack I used raises 17 inches, as compared to most that only raise 14. I jacked up on the differential, and put the rear on jack stands just in front of where the LCA's connect to the body, as high as I could get it (the nose touched the driveway) - then when you remove the endlinks, shocks, and panhard bar, you can lower the rear way down (watch that brake line on driver side!) and get the I-pipe out - it is a puzzling wiggle though. Of course taking the wheels off increases how far you can lower the rear - just don't bust that brake line.
