What sealant withstands the heat?

I put JB weld on the part of my y-pipe that goes under the oil pan because with the Hedman y-pipe, you clamp it in that spot, and the clamp will not clear my oil pan. Wel;l after running it, I guess the JB weld got so hot that it is now flaking off and leaking once again. What kind of sealant should I use to take care of this, the clamp just will not fit and I need help until I can get it welded. Thanks guys.

The best way to go is to weld it, I don't think that cold weld will last there and you don't give you a chance by not installing the U-Bolt!!

You can check on e-bay to get a wider clamp (like SLIP-ON type)that will clear the pan. I personnaly go whit the weld solution but not all the muffler shop want to weld it (no ones want to work!!!)

I just regret to have not buy a edelbrock system that bolt-on right a the cat flange and whit the OEM 2 bolt type headers collector
