What's the inlet & outlet on a spintech muffler?

I assume the "red" is the inlet? It seems that's how it should be, but I haven't found anything specifically saying so.

I would of thought the red was the inlet also, until I read this from the website
"Spin Tech's patented design provides maximum performance for today's modern engines. Its all done by means of a Spin sound trap, which captures sound vibration (noise) and turns it into heat within the muffler case"
that would seem to suggest the red is the outlet.. this could just be one of the universes unsolvable mysteries.

I got the opposite impression from reading the same text. It seems to me that it's going to spiral in and the sound will get trapped as the spiral gets smaller. If it goes in the blue side, it's not going into the spirals, it's just going around them.
I'll call them on monday, but for now it stays how it is.
