Quick cat question

I have a new Catco cat and on the original there is an AIR tube on it that goes all the way to the header but on this one, it is capped off. Do I need to connect it to that AIR tube or leave it capped? Thanks.

depends if you want to pass emmissions or not. connect if you want to pass or NEED to if not then just leave it capped
