Right back where you bought it at. Seriously, you're not building a 55 t-bucket so why do you wanna sound like one. I don't wanna sound mean, but I don't wanna let some one do something that would give the Camaro a bad name. And don't even think of using supertrapp's either. Good luck.

He's got a point, but do what you want. You really have two places to put it, the one is in the I-pipe and the other would be in the stock muff location. I've heard a stock 305 through a ghetto fabbed glasspack and it sounded like a v6 running on 5 cylinders. Dual 'packs out the back would be the only way to do it right.

I got mine next to the driveshaft where the stock pipe goes and a turn down just before the rear axle

On a stock motor Id suggest no cat or the car will be ALOT quieter than you expect

I have Hooker 2138 LTs into a highflow cat and glasspack then dump and its quieter than stock full exhaust, just a lil deeper

the time for glasspacks has come and gone, quickly to.. we have technoligy now a-days that will increase the flow of your exhaust and not make it sound like total ****, just put the glasspacks down and back slowly away...

um for a guy who runs a 10.2-10.7 ET car you should know it isn't that hard to find a spot to weld one in. usually you can use the spots the cat converter was back down to the putting them in after the axle though that would be a harder option.

have you looked under the car yet to see where you have room? they usually are a fairly small muffler

I'm running a Thursh Magnum, right after the cat, turndown pipe ending before rear axle. Sounds real good, quite deep and mellow, not very loud at all.

I would stay far away from the "standard" style glass packs though, ie the ones with the louvers inside them, mine on the other hand has a perforated core, and it's made by Dynomax.

Thats not in seconds its in minutes, with him pushing the car...lol

Umm to answer your question..

just get a turbo or super turbo muffler thats meant to have 1 inlet to and 1 ehaust on one side and one exhaust on the other side.. it faily easy to install you may need a small welder..

Actualy my 88 has glass packs (came with the car) and good god they sound sweet. Im not sure what the brand is, but they do give a nice sound. I would get more power with "real" mufflers but I'll sacrafice sound over 1 or 2 ponys any day!!!
