nitrous question

okay, i want to run a 100 or 150 shot of nitrous on my car and have a stock 89 L98 with n10 exhuast, shift kit, and 65,000 miles on car. i have already searched and decided that i will get some kind of 1.75 headers but want to put in a e-cutout and the y-pipe and leave my stock n10 alone, and myabe stick in a muffler for a better sound. yes i want the e-cutout for peformance and performance mostly, although it will sound pretty badass when open, put dont know where to put it. i dont want to harm my cats at all either when i spray. and i do plan to lower it and inch or two in the near future as well.

so my question is should i put in the e-cutout at the y pipe and 1.75 headers with my notrous?

or should i put on a full exhuast and just run nitrous with that?

and i like the e-cutout for street racing and open it against some car on the way home and then close it after the race.

thanks

Put the E cutout early in your pipe like right before the cat. This will help your car out on and off spray, more so on. Nitrous needs a free flowing exhaust, the freer the better.

can the nitrous hurt the cats at all, shorten their life maybe?

and what a decent e-cutout cost with an insatlation from someone?
I dont have a welder or anything to cut the y-pipe with.

and whats the cheapest for a set of smog legal headers for CA? or what the best brand for maximum flow?
