o2 bung on a hedman y-pipe (17470 )
Having read the sticky on headrs i have decided to go with the hedman 68470 and the 17470 y-pipe on my '87 iroc 350
my only confusion is this- why is there a need in welding a o2 sensor ? is it required for the managment system ? i am removing the A.I.R system on my car so do i still need the o2 bung ? and is it a PITA to do ?
sorry for the lame questions but i couldn't find a specific answer ( probably cause there is not many people as dumb as me
)
thanks, craig

You need the o2 sensor if you have fuel injection. Also you would not put it on the y-pipe. You will have to put one on each header collector.
