Where to buy hooker 2055's

Hey, im looking at the hooker 2055's, but where is the best place to buy them(fast shipping and low price)??

Also Does anyone have an under car pic of the hooker 2055 set-up?

Also does everyone recommend k&n drop in filter or open air filter?

Thanks in advance.

you can pick them up at autozone, that's where i got mine. you have to do a special order, but they're in the computer. showed up two days later, and there they were, ready to go home.

eliminates the handling fees from summit and jegs, plus they're shipped directly to autozone, so you don't have to worry about that either.

...as per the air filter, can you give me any details about your car?

its a stock 91 z28, all i got on it is a flowmaster muffler.

Im tryin to give it some more power.
What would you recommend

I did some research and found somethings that lots of people have done.
intake, 52mm throttle body, headers, full exhaust, 8.8mm wires, and msd 6a ignition system.
Would that be a goos start

I bought mine from Jeg's, IIRC, for around $370 with Y (just to provide you with an idea). This will be the ballpark cost from Summit too, I'd imagine.

I got mine off Ebay for $310 shipped. I just got them Tues. I did some searching for 2 weeks to find a good price and a set popped up on Ebay and I was all over it. I believe Jegs had the best price. Check w/ Ebay first a set may pop up for you.

As far as the power you want. Do the free mods found on the tech pages and full exhaust first, IMO. The better the car breathes the happier you'll be.
