Hooker 2460 & dual-cats?
So I think I've decided on the final exhaust for the 92 B4C. Thing is the B4C comes with dual cats. I'm not worried about the performance difference between single high-flow vs dual stock cats, cost and pollution are at the top of my list.
The car had its AIR system removed already, so here's what I'm thinking:
I think I'm also going to add a Spintech cat-back if I can get one at a decent price.
Comments, suggestions, concerns? My priorities in order are: Price, pollution, exhaust sound quality, and performance. Fact of the matter is for a stock L98 the difference in headers and exhaust won't make a big difference, esp since it won't be raced at all.
Thanks!

If pollution is part of the equation, why did you eliminate the A.I.R.?
If you insist on the 2460's, get the Hooker y-pipe, have it modified (cut before the actual "Y") to connect to your dual cats. Better bends (mandrel) than an exhaust shop custom y-pipe, simple to connect to the cats.
You could go with the 2055's and have it's y-pipe cut to connect to the dual cats. But, the above isn't too bad of an alternative.

I didn't eliminate the AIR, car came that way with a rebuilt motor (which we found out after purchase).
I was looking at the 2460's simply because of their price and can get a custom y-pipe made, hopefully coming out cheaper overall with keeping dual cats.
So how well does the modified Hooker y-pipe work? Is that probably the easiest route to go then? 2055's aren't much more than the 2460's+y-pipe, and its a better setup from what I read. Either way, the guy needs to see the headers to tell me how much a custom y-pipe will be.

Hookers and dual cats haven't been discussed much here that I've seen. I can only recall hearing of one member who has done the 2055's with dual cats, and I seem to remember that he said it worked very well.
It seems most people that start out with dual cats and use 2055's just put on a single 3" high-flow cat. I've considered going the dual route and modifying as indicated, but I haven't been able to justify it to date.
Most reports of 2460's and custom y-pipe either end up costing as much as the 2055's, or with a pitiful y-pipe, or all to often, both.
