Muffler And Installation?
Well i want a muffler something loud but cheap,(under a hundred dollars) but what about the installation, i would do it myself but i think you need to be able to weld unless theres something else i can do. Also do i need to replace the tailpipes or can i leave it will the stock tailpipes fit with a aftermarket muffler
Thanks, Neil

Do you currently have stock exhaust?
Are you looking for just a muffler, or an entire catback system?
Most aftermarket mufflers won't fit the stock exhaust system without adding reducers to go from the muffler's larger inlet and outlets to the stock exhausts smaller pipes.

First off check out my Catback thread in the stickies up there. It's also linked in my signature.
Loud and under a hundred bucks? Ehh.. a bullet muffler maybe, but I don't think that's what you're going for. A full catback is going to cost you 250+. You should replace the tailpipes if you're looking to gain any power. Alot of catbacks come with new tips anyway.
I'd highly recommend you have a muffler shop install it. Shouldn't be too much.

Dynomax catbacks are cheap, but no wheres near loud.
you can get that, then later on get a 2.5 in/out muffler for like 100
also loud doesnt make a good exhuast system.
the nicest sounding or loudest to one person can be crap to another.
I sugest you save your money for a hooker catback while its not the loudest it deffinatly has that awsome sound to it..
you dont have to get something new either, look in the classifieds
