need some advice

I have a 92 RS Camaro that i am putting a 350 in I have been looking at the different headers but came to a conclusion to ask here what would be the best shorty header and y pipe to use, the heads i am using are 305 #416 casting I am also putting a Turbo 350 Tranny in.

Thank You
Mike

If you'd like to retain emissions, the hooker 2055s are an excellent set.

Not exactly true. Maybe there are no regulations in Albany, but all surrounding metro Atlanta counties have to have emissions testing for all vehicles 15 yrs (I think?) or newer.

they do not do emmisions checks on Albany so i don't think i need any special headers.

I put the Edelbrock Shorty headers on mine. They bolt right up and gave me great power and sound. They even come with a emission safe sticker for the emission controled states. man im glad i live in wyoming i dont have to worry about that crap

the Edelbrock headers for our cars fit nice and have enough clearance to get the spark plugs out with ease. Stay away from Dynomax because of spark plug installation and removal issues. ( you gotta use shorty plugs like Bosch+4s)

I'd suggest ceramic coated headers and y-pipe. http://www.Jet-Hot.com sells a variety of coated brand name and their house brand headers at very competitive prices. Took about 3 weeks to get the parts. Then, I installed a set of non-emmisions coated Hedman shorties and a coated y-pipe that fit nicely and look great.

One note about useing non-emmisions headers; you will need to add the 02 sensor so ask for the parts you'll need in advance and add or weld them in as needed.

Use HEDMAN part # 68470 header with # 17478 Y-pipe. They are 1-5/8" x 3".

I dont have the product number for the edelbrock headers since its been years ago but the headers were for the TBI setup. The TPI headers are thicker I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong).
