Hooker 2055 Ceramic Coated vs painted?

I understand the painted ones will be rust color 10 seconds after install, but is there any other benefits of getting the ceramic coated ones that looks? I can't send them to jethot to get coated, because I am buying them in Canada and it would cost a small fortune to ship them back and forth, so is it worth spending the extra $400 and order then ceramic coated vs painted, $775 vs $400?

Tks Troy

Uncoated or painted headers are about 500-600 degrees. Coated headers are about 300-400 degrees. The coating also helps the headers last longer, and they do look better.

better exhaust velocity and even temp control. keeps your engine bay cooler which results in better hp and torque.

You can get ceramic coating done here in Canada as well. I have had Top Gun cermic coat headers for me before and they turned out very nice. Check it out here
http://www.topguncoatings.com/index.html

As mentioned it will keep your underhood temps lower and provide long lasting looks.

Coated headers are well worth the money. As well all know quite a few of the parts on our cars are plastic and heat usually makes plastic brittle. Coated headers will not only reduce engine bay temp but also make lots of the parts in the engine bay last longer.

Plus they look cool too!!
