I've had Hooker 2210's for a few years now, and have the engine out for replacement. When I put them in originally I placed them in from below? But I'm wondering what the best thing to do now is. Should I just put the engine in by itself and then replace the headers again from below?

IIRC the headers must be off the motor to get it in.

HTH!

From what I have read the best thing is to tape/tie the headers to the fender wells then drop the motor in and bolt the headers up. Apparently you have to jack the motor up anyway to get them on so just lay them on the inner fenders and drop the motor in on top of them. I just got my 2210s so I'll be trying this for the first time myself.

Thanks. I tied them to the inner fenders whilst I dropped the engine in as the car was on axle stands. It's much easier than mounting the engine, then trying to manipulate the headers into place.

Yep...This is the best way, IMO.
