Anyone make a custom y pipe for SLP's?
I realized how small the y pipe is on the headers. I mean the primaries are 1 3/4 and the y pipe is 2in. I saw a pic of someone cut the flange off the header and put a 3inch collector on it. I was thinking about a 2.5. I don't know if there would be enough room for 3in or not. I am thinking about getting the spohn k member to get some more room.
I bought these headers from 87_TA here on the board and he was running 10's with these headers and a 4in mufflex. My setup is very similar to his. I don't expect to run 10's, but I should be deep into the 11's. So this makes me wonder if its worth messing with. OR how fast it would be with a better y pipe setup.
Thanks.

I know people here locally have them custom made. Dyno Don does a good job here in Southern California. I do not know of anything you can buy over the counter.
