changing tone of car

Do tips help with the tone of car. I finally got the magnaflow muffler on. I was looking at some of their tips. I like the 22 inch. Will these go on a third gen camaro.

Transmission: T-5

Axle/Gears: Stock

Tips can change the tone a little bit. I am not sure what tips will go on a third gen though. Im just using Dynomax tailpipes right now. Whatever diameter pipes you have just get tips that will fit over them.
