Xtensions for hedmen LT's
hello, ive tried searching but haven't found a clear answer to my question. are the hedmen xtensions needed to clear anything under the car? im planning on just having a true dual 3 inch exhaust shooting straight out from the collectors to chambered classic mufflers to turndowns with an h pipe. will i run into any clearance problems or will i be able run the tubing straight from the header collectors to my mufflers without xtensions. thank you in advance.

If your car currently utilizes the factory 700r4 crossmember than yes.
There is a sticky up top with a lot of pics that may better help you visualize how duals may be run.

The Hedman extentions clear the stock auto cross members fine (I have a Lakewood th400 swap kit and clears even better! Due to the tubular style and where the trans mounts at is like 3" further back then stock 700R4 on a short tail shaft th400) The only problem you will have is movement to get it to tuck up higher and be straight the drivers side with the 3" extentions (its a snug fit from the collector, front sub frame on the passengers side, bellhousing ... I couldnt get my set to fit correct and didnt want to beat my floor up so I went with the 2 1/2" set and it clears perfect! then added cut outs and then ran it to the mufflers and dumped before axel) not saying it can be done .. I didnt have any luck .. but you might find a easier
